Years of working with young players and families have shown how often important questions arises between practices, games and major decisions. Amistad City exists to create a trusted place for reflection, perspective and guidance during those moments.
The goal is to help players better understand their experiences and help parents feel more confident in how to support them

This work is centered on helping players build confidence under pressure, make better decisions, understand their role and take ownership of their growth, while also supporting parents as they navigate their own journey alongside them.

Memo Sifuentes
Memo Sifuentes is the founder of Amistad City and a former Austin FC Academy coach. His experience in youth players development and education shaped the approach behind Amistad City, with a focus on helping players reflect on their journey and helping parents navigate it alongside them. This work is driven by a belief in people, in growth over time and in the value of honest, thoughtful conversation.

Experience across club, ODP and regional identification environments with a focus on long term player growth

Several years teaching young people in the classroom, along with university level sports management instruction
